Description

Mega Man Zero, known in Japan as Rockman Zero, is a video game developed by Inti Creates and published by Capcom for the Game Boy Advance handheld game console. It the first installment in the Mega Man Zero series, the fifth series in Capcom's Mega Man video game franchise. It was released in Japan on April 26, 2002, and in North America and Europe later that year. Mega Man Zero is set 100 years following the Mega Man X saga of games. The plot follows the android protagonist Zero, who is awakened from a century of sleep to aid a human scientist named Ciel and her resistance force in a fight against the utopia of Neo Arcadia, which is attempting to unjustly wipe out all androids it views as threats. Like its predecessors in the original Mega Man series and Mega Man X series, Mega Man Zero is an action-platformer. However, the game forgoes the franchise's traditional format of letting the player select stages and acquire each boss's weapon. It instead features a smaller number of upgradable weapons and mission-based progression within a large, interconnected world.

How To Play Mega Man Zero On PC

There are two components for playing a gba Mega Man Zero game on your PC. The first component is the emulation program which can imitate the gba OS and software.

The second component is the Mega Man Zero game itself to play on the emulator.

Step 1: you can start by downloading a reliable and bug free emulator. We’d suggest VBA-M – it’s open source, fast and one of the most frequently updated.

Once you have finished downloading VBA-M, extract the downloaded .zip file to a location, for example your Desktop. After, double click the visualboyadvance-m.exe file in order to start the emulator.

Your emulator will now be ready to play Mega Man Zero. But now you’ll need to find the correct ROMs online. A ROM is essentially a virtual version of the game that needs to be loaded into the emulator.

Step 2: return to Visualboyadvance-m and hit File > Open. Navigate to the downloaded .zip file and double click it to open it. The game will now run on the emulator and you can play the game freely.

Tip: Saving games on an emulator functions a little differently. The integrated save system will not save your progress.
Instead, you’ll need to click File > Save State and then choose an empty slot. You can save your progress in whatever point you like within the game, not only on the official checkpoints offered by the game.

When playing in the future and you want to continue from your saved state, you can use File > Load State to load up the game from exactly where you last saved it.
