Pokemon Stadium coming to Switch


Get ready for legendary battles.

Nintendo has revealed the release date of a legendary Pokémon game, which will add to the already wide range of Nintendo Switch . We are talking about the well-known and beloved Pokémon Stadium , which will arrive for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers .

The title was originally released in 2000 for the Nintendo 64 and put the beloved creatures through various trials and epic battles. In fact, the new title will also offer multiplayer and this means that you will be able to play against your friends. Pokémon Stadium contains about 150 Pokémon.


Nintendo's statements about Pokémon Stadium:

Hello trainers! Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers will be able to play the classic Nintendo 64 title Pokémon Stadium with online multiplayer battles. It will be released on April 12th!

Nintendo 64 games already on the service include: Mario Kart 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Star Fox 64, Paper Mario, Super Mario 64, Dr. Mario 64, Yoshi's Story, GoldenEye 007, Sin & Punishment, Banjo Kazooie, Pilotwings 64, Pokémon Puzzle League, Pokémon Snap, The Legend of Zelda™: Majora's Mask, Wave Race 64, WIN BACK: COVERT OPERATIONS, Mario Tennis, Mario Party , Mario Party 2 and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards.

The Expansion Pack became available some time ago and is a new tier of the existing Nintendo Switch Online subscription service that offers access to Mega Drive and Nintendo 64 games.

The price of the simple Nintendo Switch Online subscription is set for Europe at €19.99 per year. On the other hand, the 'Expansion Pack' ranges from €39.99 per year.
