3DS And Wii U Users Say Goodbye To Online Play



It's a bit of a sad day in the world of Nintendo, with the company officially shutting down online play functionality for both the 3DS and Wii U systems.

Fans have today united by jumping on the servers while they were still active and seeing out the final hours. Across social media, there have been a lot of people having some final sessions in Splatoon, Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart and various other games.
